Having trouble getting your kids to eat veggies? Then this is the recipe for you!!!
What you will need
2 cups of shredded carrots
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 stick of butter
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
Since we are trying to keep this recipe semi healthy and not ruin the good parts you can substitute the half stick of butter for butter flavored cooking spray.
We also used Fresh pineapple juice
First off melt butter in a pan
add brown sugar and stir
Add Carrots
saute on medium low heat for 5 minutes
Add Pineapple Juice and cinnamon
cook until desired softness on carrots and serve with a side of grapes! you can also add raisins to the carrots for a little extra sweetness (kids will never know this is healthy, sweet as candy!)
