Challenge Week Taco Helper Dip

Here is a recipe to make something different out of a prepackaged box of Taco Helper


What you will need:
Taco Helper
Salt
Pepper
Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream
Additional Taco Seasonings
Hamburger Meat
Refried Beans
Pickled Jalapenos
1/2 cup of milk






Brown Hamburger
Add 1/3 of packaged seasonings
(I also added salt,pepper and red pepper flakes)
Drain, set aside


 In another pan
Add 2 tablespoons of butter&rice
Saute until butter is melted

Slowly add 1 1/2 cups of water
Cook for 8 minutes


Add 1/2 cup of milk
and cheese packet
 Add a little more of the taco flavored seasoning
rice is done when tender
Time to layer!!!

Refried beans first
(To zazz up a can of refried beans
Saute in a pan with salt, pepper
 and a small squeeze of lemon juice)
 cheese
 Ground Beef
 Rice mixture
 Cheese
 Repeat
 Bake at 350
until hot and cheese is melted
Let cool 

In a separate bowl
add 1 cup sour cream
and taco seasonings

stir

Add sour cream mixture
to the cooled layered dip
 Add packaged chips
 Jalapenos
 Tomatoes
 Lettuce
 Top with salsa and sourcream


Eat with chips
